High School Road Beautification Project: Phase One
Streetscaping of the Elkins Park Commercial District
Phase 1 of the project aims to enhance the natural beauty and environmental health of our community by planting trees, building a fountain and a permanent outdoor game table in the business district on High School Road.
Brought to our attention by business owner and Cheltenham resident Walter Singer, the Tree Planting will add much needed shade and greens space in this corridor.
A matching grant of up to $7000 facilitated by the Cheltenham Township Industrial Development Authority (CTIDA), will help reinvigorate the area

Key Features
Tree Planting: We will be planting approximately 9 trees, installing a commercial grade fountain, and an outdoor gaming table along High School Road to provide shade, and create a more vibrant and green community space
Community Involvement: Residents are encouraged to participate in upcoming events to celebrate this beautification project.
Fundraising: To support this initiative, we are organizing fundraisers throughout the year and into next. Contributions will go directly towards purchasing trees, planting materials, and maintenance.
